Levan Janashia is Lecturer of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Adjunct Professor of Tbilisi Free University and Trainer of Training Center of Georgian Bar Association. In the years of 2005-2013 Levan conducted lectures at Caucasus Law School and at the University of Georgia. In 2005-2007 he led the lecture courses in Law and Economics on the German-speaking faculty.
Levan Janashia is the member of Georgian Bar Association from the year of 2004 and since then is practicing the law. At different times he worked as an Advocate for the international law firm ‘’Gabisonia, Dietrich and Partners’’ LP, ‘’Gabisonia and Partners’’ GP, ‘’J&T Consulting’’ LLC, and for the law firm ‘’FLC’’ worked on the positions of Advocate, Managing Partner and Director. Levan has thirteen-year experience presenting clients’ legal representation experience in Courts, State bodies and agencies.
Levan Janashia is the chairman of ‘’Tbilisi Arbitration Institute’’ since 2009 and he has heard and resolved more than 2000 cases.
Levan is an Academic Director of National Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution since 2011.
Since 2018 he is a chairman of the Georgian Association of Mediators.
He is the author of several articles and is a co-author of the Contract Law textbook.
