Certificate Trainings for Co-Mediators

On December 26-29, 2017, the Georgian Association of Mediators (GAM), in collaboration with the Training Center of Justice of Georgia (TCJ) and Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University National Center of Alternative Dispute Resolution (TSU NCADR), also with the support of German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) conducted Co-mediators certification training.

21 certified mediators were trained in the framework of the training: Paata Kopaleishvili, Rostom Guntaishvili, Giorgi Baghanashvili, Ana Gurieli, Nino Burduli, Qetevan Mamadashvili, Guram Barnabishvili, Dali Vasadze, Faig Mustafaev, Eduard Amoev, Nikoloz Natsvlishvili, Tamta Mogeladze, Tamta Jgharkava, Nino Gvelesiani, Ana Papkiauri, Meri Tsereteli, Nino Joxadze, Tamar Bendeliani, Tamar Kankava, Elshad Akhverdov, Nino Sajaia.

Certified mediators will practice mediation based on a memorandum developed by the High Council of Justice of Georgia and the Tbilisi City Court, which is aimed to overload courts through implementation of mediation on civil disputes.

Intensive training was conducted by Georgian Association of Mediators (GAM) and Center of Alternative Dispute Resolution (TSU NCADR), also German Corporation for International Cooperation trainers: Giorgi Tsertsvadze, Levan Jorjeliani, Eter Chachanidze, Archil Gorduladze, Natia Chitashvili, Levan Janashia and Otar Machaidze. The training was conducted according to the training model developed with the support of European Union (EU) and United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the support of East-West Management Institute Promoting Rule of Law in Georgia project (EWMI-PROLoG), and according to the training materials developed by the National Center of Alternative Dispute Resolution (NCADR).
